Myrna is a journalist and publisher who explores the nexus of science and spirituality. The publication she has owned for two decades, Apogeo Spatial, is about the importance of data—location, Earth science, and data used for training Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms. Her current work focuses on the importance of ethics in AI, and on the power of a broader worldview, such as seeing Earth from space. After a decade in Chicago of managing national accounts like Nikon, Sony, and Procter and Gamble for national magazines, she spent 1998 and 1999 traveling the world solo and blogging on her live travel website before “blogging” was even a word. She lives in Denver with her amazing adopted autistic son.
